
CLIENT INTRODUCTION
Omnio Immobilien is a German real estate company founded in 2021. The founders Fabian and Jakob strive to bring a fresh perspective to the still rather traditional industry by offering their clients all real estate related services from one address – a one-stop-shop approach. Furthermore, their long-term plan is to create a modern customer experience, utilising automation and digital tools where appropriate and making the bureaucracy and processes related to real estate as easy as possible for their clients.

1. CREATION
To make the brand come alive, I started by conducting a survey with the Omnio founders. My goal was to understand their vision, mission, raison d’etre and values. In the next step I continued by introducing the concept of brand identity and creating a set of mood boards and typography suggestions that would convey the right brand message and feeling aligned with their answers to the survey.

The chosen colours, form language (round shapes with lots of whitespace) and typography support the values of the company; trustworthiness, sustainability, professionalism, and customer-orientation.





2. IMPLEMENTATION
For a starting company the implementation of the brand as quickly as possible was key.
To “be alive” Omnio needed first and foremost to have an online presence and business cards to hand out.
I designed and developed Omnio a WordPress website using a basic ready theme and customising it to fit the created brand identity. I also took the official company photos for the website.
The company logo was created by an external graphic designer, Fräulein Weiss. I lead the feedback discussions to ensure the brand guidelines were followed.
3. DEVELOPMENT
After the website, I continued to further refine the features and add new sections based on new content (such as the blog).
I also created the company’s first magazine ads, social media posts and an an outdoor hybrid advertisement combining brand awareness content with a an ad for the actual space they were renting out. My goal was to grab the audience’s attention with something different and visually “loud” and make them interested in learning more about the company. We saw an increase of 45% in website visitors during the week of launching the outdoor ads.
The challenge and inspiration in creating these brand stories is to find the balance between communicating in a serious and trustworthy manner, while still being fresh, modern and courageous in “breaking the pattern” of the industry.
